About Us

Roger Kemp and Company thrives on serving others.

We serve radio stations. We serve ministries. We serve listeners.

Success depends upon our ability to foresee what’s needed. We strive to meet and exceed those needs with proficiency.

The influence of Roger Kemp and Company can be measured by the distinguished ministries we’re privileged to represent and the exceptional team assembled to serve them.

Roger Kemp

Roger Kemp

President

Roger Kemp’s career in Christian broadcasting began in 1979 on the staff of Ambassador Advertising Agency in Fullerton, California. It was rewarding to learn the craft of radio production and media time-buying from mentors Al Sanders, and Jon and Peggy Campbell, during an era when clients such as Chuck Swindoll and James Dobson entered the broadcasting scene.

In 1991, Roger accepted Chuck Swindoll’s invitation to become Vice President of Broadcasting and International Ministries at Insight for Living. In this season, Roger gave leadership to the production and distribution of the broadcast in North America, and also helped expand Insight for Living’s outreach to international markets. In 1998, Roger joined the executive team at Salem Communications in Camarillo, California, as Vice President of National Programming. He was the gatekeeper for fifty Salem stations and responsible for programming major market facilities with national ministry content.

This trilogy of experience (agency, ministry and radio network) formed the foundation for Roger’s media agency for Christian ministries. Based in Westlake Village, California, Roger Kemp and Company was incorporated in 2004.

Roger serves on the Executive Committee of the National Religious Broadcasters, Manassas, Virginia.

Married for thirty-three years, Roger and his wife, Lori, have four adult children and reside in Thousand Oaks, California. Roger and Lori are avid cyclists and on weekends also enjoy hiking in the local mountains. When Lori is not working on projects at Kemp and Company, you might find her conducting tours as a docent at the nearby Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

Outside of his profession, Daniel enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports and learning new songs on his guitar. He is married to his college sweetheart, who is affectionately known as Rocki. Together they are raising their English bulldog Winston, who they suspect smokes cigars on the sofa while they are at work—though they have not been able to prove it.

Jessie Jolliff

Jessie Jolliff

Media Relations Specialist

Jessie was born in the midst of her parents’ mission work in Kenya, where she lived for seven years. She then spent three years in Mississippi before moving to Southern California, where she lived out the rest of her childhood. Growing up in another country has given Jessie a unique third-culture perspective that she finds highly advantageous for creative problem solving and creative thinking in general. It has also made the hymn “Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go” a very real and ever-present motif in her life.

Jessie gained marketing experience in the rental home industry before God brought her to Roger Kemp and Company to serve as a part of the Media Services Team with her skills and eclectic cultural background. She has her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Pepperdine University.

During her free time, Jessie loves making people laugh, attending her weekly Bible study, singing with her church ensemble, painting and, when inspired, composing music and lyrics. She also enjoys writing silly short stories and telling them with the panache of a troubadour.

Upon her return home, Meredith prayed to find work that would both challenge her and allow her to serve others for the sake of the Gospel. God was faithful to answer her prayers and opened the door for Meredith to join the RKC Media Services team.  When she’s not at work, you can find her breaking a sweat at a yoga or Pilates class, sipping coffee with friends, or booking a flight to Nashville to visit her home away from home!

Our Values

  • Words are Powerful

Whether written or spoken, for the eye or for the ear, carefully crafted words can ignite a global revolution or spark a personal transformation. We take writing very seriously.

  • Healthy Things Grow

No manner of ingenuity or marketing panache can make a tepid idea a hot one. God-ordained ministries grow. Our highest motivation is to participate in the success of ministries where God is already at work.

  • Christ is Central in All Things

While men are capable of conducting good and worthy acts of kindness, we are exclusively engaged in efforts where the flag of Jesus Christ is proudly raised to the top of the flagpole.

  • Intensity and Urgency are Happy Things

Time is short. The days are fleeting. We act like it. And, hey, good ideas often emerge when the heat's on and deadlines are looming.

  • We Serve

We serve at the will of our clients and do everything possible to exceed their expectations. Nothing makes us happier than a satisfied client.
