You're Never Home Alone with RKC

By Jessie Jolliff

Dec. 22, 2016

At RKC, we keep you company all year long, delivering the best in Christian programming. And we’re rolling the credits for writer/producers Marisa Musselwhite and Elaine Yamasaki who also double as RKC chefs, cooking up culinary confections in the RKC test kitchen! They’re also trying out new scripting recipes for their programs that include Pathway to Victory with Dr. Robert Jeffress, All Things New with Shawn Thornton, Insight for Living with Chuck Swindoll, and Focal Point with Mike Fabarez. There’s a secret recipe for success that only they know! So as Marisa and Elaine take some homemade goodies from the oven, they want to remind you of the lines from another Christmas classic, The Grinch: “Maybe Christmas he thought, doesn’t come from a store. Maybe ... Read More

The RKC Polar Express

By Jessie Jolliff

Dec. 21, 2016

In winter and summer, spring and fall, RKC writers come through for you all. Russ Shumaker and Ryan Faulk keep the daily train moving with fresh and engaging scripting for clients like Walk in the Word with James MacDonald, Highpoint with Ron Zappia, and Our Daily Bread programs that include Discover the Word and Words to Live By! And occasionally, you can find them letting off some steam with a snowball fight! They claim the activity adds to their creativity and inspiration! And today, they’re reminding all of us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The Polar Express conductor said it this way, “Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are ... Read More

Dreaming of a White Christmas

By Jessie Jolliff

Dec. 20, 2016

Here at RKC, we can only dream of a White Christmas. After all, we’re in sunny California where we haven’t even seen real snow in months and years! But Director of Creative Services Yvonne Noblitt and Writer/Producer Carissa Faulk are keeping their chins up and their muffs on nonetheless. They're proud to serve ministry partners such as Know the Truth with Philip De Courcy, Unlimited Grace with Dr. Bryan Chapell, Voice of the Martyrs with Todd Nettleton, Truth For Life with Alistair Begg, Insight for Living with Chuck Swindoll, and Hope Out Loud with the Barricks. These Bible teaching programs consistently point listeners to Jesus Christ! And as the ever-effusive Bing Crosby said, “If you’re worried and you can’t sleep, count your blessings instead of ... The Nativity Story is the Meaning of the Season

By Jessie Jolliff

Dec. 19, 2016

All this week, our ministry partners will be sharing Christmas messages on their individual programs. Every program heralds Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord! Just as the angels proclaimed in Luke 2:10-11: “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Now, that’s joy ... JOY TO THE WORLD! Read More

Elf Visits RKC

By Jessie Jolliff

Dec. 16, 2016

Elf made a visit to Roger Kemp and Company today! True to character, Buddy proclaimed, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!” Elf also sat down to read a Christmas classic with KT Losi and her children. KT, who is the principal writer/producer for Parenting Today’s Teens, advises that it’s never too early to start listening to parenting expert Mark Gregston. Tomorrow, on December 17, be sure to tune in to Parenting Today’s Teens special 10-year anniversary program. And perhaps you’ll need Mark Gregston’s parenting program all the more if your kids follow Elf’s holiday advice: “We elves try to stick to the four basic food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.” Read More

Christmas in California

By Jessie Jolliff

Dec. 14, 2016

There may not be any snow on the ground, but we’re still in the Christmas spirit here at Roger Kemp and Company. RKC's Media Services Director Jessica Suggs and our new Media Services Manager Daniel Noblitt are making preparations to see you all at NRB 2017. Be looking for the latest updates for meeting the RKC team in the Los Angeles suite at the Orlando World Center Marriott. And do you know who said, “Watch now. I show you how to flip-flop the flop-flips”? That would be Felix Bassenak played by S.Z. Sakall in Christmas in Connecticut. Read More
