Who Is Your Neighbor?

By Julianna Keck

Feb. 5, 2018

Life is busy! We’ve got places to go, people to see, and things to do. Living in a culture that extols efficiency and productivity does nothing to help our inability to slow down. And in the hustle and bustle, it’s easy to see someone in need … and just keep moving. From February 5th-16th, the Discover the Word team will be tackling this matter head on, in a two-week study of the well-known parable, The Good Samaritan. Watch the series promo video below: The team suggests that when Jesus talked about being someone’s neighbor, He wasn’t just referring to the people who live next door. Instead, Jesus’ words in Luke chapter 12 open our eyes and hearts to the needs of the hand-chosen people God ... Read More

By Julianna Keck

Jan. 10, 2018

This January, Philip will be introducing a new series in Jonah, titled Man on the Run, and a brand-new, yearlong campaign to reach the urban cities of America with biblical truth that sets men and women free. If you look past the gleaming skyscrapers and hustle and bustle of lively streets, you’ll find that the great metropolises of our nation are full of lost and broken people, in the same way Nineveh was. But unlike Jonah, Know The Truth is not running away from God’s call to go and share the good news of His indiscriminate love and mercy for the world. The Great Cities Initiative is the largest ministry effort Know The Truth has ever undertaken! The journey begins January 18 with a special ... Read More
