WRITER/PRODUCER

About the Position

Our writers/producers work in direct collaboration with the Christian ministries we represent to prepare broadcast copy for on-air program hosts and personalities. Writing projects may include creative devotional spots, promotional spots, and offer copy.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting creative and attention-grabbing copy with the capacity to work under strict deadlines.

Qualifications

Abilities Required

  • Must be a proficient and experienced writer
  • Familiarity with Mac computers preferred
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment where high capacity output is rewarded
  • Knowledge or familiarity of the programs on Christian radio
  • General understanding of denominational and theological differences
  • Passion for mission of non-profit Christian ministries to facilitate client goals
Preferred Background
  • A minimum of two years work experience in professional office setting
  • Bachelor of Arts degree required, Seminary degree preferred 
  • English, Communications, Media or Theology education

MANAGER OF MEDIA SERVICES

About the Position

            This position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented, independent business marketing and communications professional with a background in media management.  Responsibilities include developing relationships with both media representatives and our ministry clients in a variety of capacities.  The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills to manage client media budgets and negotiate radio and television time buys for our clients in appropriate and strategic markets.  Candidate must have experience creating financial reports and effectively communicating trends to executive-level management.  As the promotion and marketing arm of the firm, this office is also responsible for strategizing and executing print, email and digital marketing campaigns to media representatives.  This office is also responsible for maintaining client promotional materials for marketing purposes and for managing special projects for our ministry clients, including the annual National Religious Broadcasters convention. 

Administrative

  • Strategize and lead projects on behalf of clients
  • Create and execute monthly financial and media ROI reports
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports on radio release and station growth
  • Effectively communicate trends to executive level management and look for ways to increase station growth
  • Maintain database information

Marketing

  • Collaborate with clients to determine effective marketing campaigns to media representatives in line with client’s long-term objectives
  • Brainstorm, create and implement print, email and digital marketing campaigns
  • Create and distribute monthly promotional packets on behalf of clients
  • Monitor and track digital marketing campaigns and effectiveness

Sales

  • Negotiate radio and television time buys and pre-existing contracts on behalf of non-profit ministries 
  • Coordinate and execute phone campaigns to potential and current stations on behalf of clients 

Qualifications

Abilities Required

  • Must be a proficient and experienced project manager
  • Proficient on Mac
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word, and online marketing solutions, including email software such as Mail Chimp
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment where high-capacity output is rewarded
  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and marketing
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proven experience executing financial reports and charts
  • Detail oriented
  • High-level customer service experience
  • Familiarity with Christian radio programs
  • General understanding of Christian denominational and theological differences
  • Empathy for mission of non-profit ministries to facilitate client goals

Preferred Background

  • A minimum of five years professional work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Business, Communications, Media or English degree preferred
