Talking to people about Jesus should be a natural expression that pours out of our love for God.  But for many Christians, the word evangelism can be a little intimidating.

Gerard Long invested his career in Great Britain as an executive in the banking business.  In that setting, God captured his heart and Gerard began openly sharing his faith with friends and colleagues.  Today, he's the executive director of Alpha USA.  The Alpha Course provides an opportunity for people to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking small group sessions.  Today, The Alpha Course has been attended by an astounding 18 million people worldwide.

We are pleased to offer you a brand new 2-minute daily radio program featuring inspirational thoughts from Gerard Long.  The program is called Alpha Radio.  This broadcast will debut on Monday, April 16, 2012.

The purpose of Alpha Radio is to ignite enthusiasm in the people of God for sharing their faith with others, and also encouraging those who seek Him.  In the Scriptures, Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and tell others about Him.  But most people have relegated this mandate to the professionals, feeling they don't have the gifting or skils to tell others about Jesus.

There are five sample programs posted below.  We think you will agree Gerard engages the listener in a winsom and creative way.  It's our hope that God will use these short features to awaken His people to the exciting adventure of telling others about Him.  There are no fund appeals, nor overt promotion for The Alpha Course, on these daily features.
